Total Inductance

Total inductance of \(n\) coils connected in parallel. The individual inductances of all coils connected in parallel add reciprocally.

For two coils connected in parallel (\(n=2\)), the reciprocal total inductance \(L\) is the reciprocal sum of the two individual inductances: $$ \frac{1}{L} ~=~ \frac{1}{L_1} ~+~ \frac{1}{L_2} $$ or rearranged for \( L \): $$ L ~=~ \frac{L_1 \, L_2}{L_1 + L_2} $$

Individual Inductance

Induktivitäten einzelner, parallel geschalteter Spulen. \(L_1\) ist die Induktivität der ersten Spule, \(L_2\) die Induktivität der zweiten Spule und so weiter. \(L_n\) ist die Induktivität der letzten, \(n\)-ten Spule.
