Each element \(x\) from the domain \(\mathbb{X} = \{ 1, 5, 3, 6 \}\) is assigned an element \(y\) from the codomain \(\mathbb{Y} = \{ 4, 3, 2, 10, 42 \}\) as an example. This results in the following function rule: \[ f(1) = 10 \] \[ f(5) = 10 \] \[ f(3) = 42 \] \[ f(6) = 2 \]
