LIFE:

Change of T-shirt and underpants in backpack with US Army folding method. Encounter with Lora. Third time Fluent Body.

November 7, 2024.

I'll keep the spare T-shirt and underpants in the backpack instead of at home. That way, I always have a spare T-shirt and underpants with me if I spontaneously go to mom's house for an overnight stay, for example. Then I don't have to go home to get the spare clothes. The T-shirt and underpants are baselayers, which means I wear them in all seasons. That's why the new storage location, namely the backpack, makes sense.

To ensure that the T-shirt takes up as little valuable space as possible in the backpack, I researched a compact folding method and came across the folding method used by the US Army. A small piece of the end of the T-shirt is first turned inside out, then folded and rolled up. Then the part that was previously turned inside out is put over the roll so that it no longer unrolls on its own. I have learned this method and will apply it to the spare T-shirt. There is the same trick for the underpants.

I thought about whether I could perfect this method further and make the underpants and the T-shirt as a single item of clothing, because when I change the T-shirt, I also change the underpants at the same time. I have come up with the following method: Before I fold the T-shirt, I lay the underpants flat in the chest area on the T-Shirt. The T-shirt is then folded further using the US Army method. This results in a single roll. Folding a T-shirt and underpants using the US Army methodT-shirt, with underpants inside, folded compactly using the US Army method.

About the US Army: What do you think about Donald Trump being re-elected?

This afternoon I drove to Hanover. While waiting for the erixx at Hildesheim main station, I got a tingle in my stomach when I saw Lora. I sat on the floor of the entrance in the full train and Lora sat opposite me. “Am I talking to her?” I think to myself. I wonder why some people attract me so blatantly. I suddenly feel a connection and my stomach tingles. I simply approached her in Hanover.

“Hey,” I catch up with her, “can I ask you something?”

"Yeah, sure”

“Would you like to have a coffee with me here in the café?” I ask her, pointing to the Espresso House at the station.

"Yes, why not. I wanted a cocoa anyway,” she replies. She doesn't mind that I'm barefoot.

And that's how I met Lora. We quickly moved on to the more profound topics. I fantasized about a society without shoes and cobblestones.

I was in a gloomy mood beforehand, but after meeting Lora I was cheered up and got a smile on my face. I keep realizing that it's not my possessions that enrich me, but the people I meet. Basically, I could get rid of everything I own and just walk around naked. As long as I meet beautiful people like Lora, I don't need anything else.

With a big grin on my face, I went to the HanoMacke to wait for Fluent Body class and drink a 50-cent filter coffee. I almost forgot that I was on the phone to Julia today. She tried to call me. We arranged to meet and shortly afterwards I went dancing.

This time I didn't have to cry during the lesson. It was much more relaxed than the last time. The movements were gentler. One participant burst into tears. That's how I felt last time. I was so relieved afterwards. It felt good.

When I got home around 10 p.m., I couldn't really fall asleep. I replied to the SMS from Lena.

It is now 11 pm. Unexpectedly, the mobile phone rings. It's Lena. I wasn't expecting her to call me at this late hour. Anyway, I was very pleased because we talked about our life dreams. She has somehow given me a taste for becoming a spiritual teacher.

I am grateful today:

  • For learning a compact folding method.
  • For allowing me to meet Lora and for sharing her time with me.
  • For the fact that Lena called me and we had an inspiring phone call.
