Electric Charge: How They Repel and Attract Each Other
Electric charge is a fundamental property of matter. Everything you see around you is made up of electric charges. There are two types of electric charges: positive charges and negative charges.
Electric charges cannot be generated - but it is possible, for example, to ionize neutral atoms, that is, to separate charges, which is why the atoms become electrically charged.
Charges are separated, for example, by means of frictional electricity, glow emission, high field strengths or light irradiation.
